Open panels from bottom to top and left to right

Q: Is it possible to change the orientation of the component to the opposite of the current horizontal and vertical setting ? I would like the panels to open from bottom to top when in vertical mode and from left to right when in horizontal mode.
A: Yes it is. You need to rotate the component 180 degrees and use ActionScript code to rotate and reposition the component's headers and panels. Please see the example for more details.

Need to re-orient and open to a specific panel

Thanks for the great examples of how to re-orient the panels to open right to left, and how to open the accordion to a specific panel. But I can not get the two bits of action script to work together. I know they are both creating listeners, so there's a conflict there. Could you provide and example of both tricks in one script? Many thanks!
