Buy NowThis item cannot be purchased separately. To get this MCTE pattern you need to purchase one of the following products:
AboutThe Water Drops MCTE Pattern enables users to create water type flash animations. The Water Drops pattern can be used on both static images/movieclips and dynamic content to create transitionTo and transitionFrom types of MovieClip transitions. The Water Drops effect CAN NOT be used for Loader Pro V3 transitions, because it DOES NOT support show/hide transitions. Important! In order to use all these included MCTE V3 patterns, you need to have the MCTE V3 component too, since it is the component that handles the transitions, you can purchase MCTE V3 here. CompatibilityActionScript: 2.0, 3.0Flash IDE: Flash 8, Flash CS3 FlashPlayer: FlashPlayer 8, FlashPlayer 9 Working with Custom PatternsThe MCTE internal API allows us to further develop and sell patterns separately, all you have to do in order to use them as patterns for the MCTE instances, is to drag them inside your project library and use their name as values for the customPattern parameter of the MCTE.As stated before, we sell patterns that are not initially included inside the MCTE. You can purchase those patterns without the MCTE, but they will be useless without it. We also do develop patterns for direct customers, who want a special custom developed pattern for a specific transition. In order to get a custom developed pattern just send us an email. Water Drops Pattern Description![]() Supports transitionTo/transitionFrom state to state type (B) transitions and also supports transitionThrough (D), a transition type that starts and ends in the same state of the same MovieClip, but transits trough an altered state. The gain parameter represents the drop size. The tweeningDuration parameter is used only for transitionThrough type of transitions as a total duration parameter. CustomParams • customParam1:String (numerical value) - the average interval between 2 drops in miliseconds • customParam2:String (numerical value) - the percentage of the allowed deviation on the average drop time. default: "0", values up to "100". • customParam3:String (numerical value) - the disappear time duration of the water effect for transitionFrom and transitionThrough Quick Tip Use this effect to create water drop effect, rain-like and storm-like effect. Presets No presets are available for the water drop effect. |

Documentation
I bought this component - and like the previous comment - I think that the documentation needs to be more reflective of the example shown on the site.
Even the sample file that comes with the components purchase doesn't work the same way as the sample file that people view when they decide to make the purchase.
Components are to make life easier for Flash developers - I'm hoping that my message to Jumpeye support helps resolve the issues I'm having.
I would recommend that until you see better documentation on how to achieve the effect shown on the site that people don't purchase this product.

Hi , While I find the example you have provided to be very attractive, I find it extremely difficult, if not impossible to duplicate the example on this site.
The documenation is sparse and not very intuative.
Unless I can really find a way to tweak the parameters to produce something more as in the example, I would have to give this a thumbs down ..
After 6 hours of adjusting I get small horizontal drops that look more like television noise rather thab=n water.
I have achieved some "kindof" water effects, but nothing very realistic.
Sorry
