Can the component be populated with data from within Flash?

Q: Is it possible to use hardcoded data in Flash to populate the data or does it have to be an external XML file?

A: The ThumbnailSlider component has the xml property which accepts data of type XML. You can create this new xml data using code, within Flash. The attached example shows you how to do this.
