Different text formats and anti alias

(2008-01-29 - views: 3545)

Q: Can I change the anti alias setting of the menu's text fields ? How about using different text settings (like color and typefaces) for the menu items ?
A: You need to go through the entire menu to get the reference to the text field of each menu item and set the anti alias type. This is done using a recursive function. This example also demonstrates how can different text formats be used for the different menu items and the different state's a menu item has.

AS3 example

This example is for AS2. When I converted it to AS3 I get an error. The myMenu.subMenus MC can't be found (and I changed myMenu to my menu's name). Thanks!

This example no longer works in AS3 because of language restrictions.
