volume slider
Thank you for your feedback and for your appreciation. If you need a volume slider, you can have one. I've just sent you an e-mail with it. Together with the FLV Video Player component you've received 3 included skins with assets and everything. The second skin (videoPlayerItemsWithSkin2.fla) has a volume slider control...all I had to do was to copy the volume slider's assets from the Library and the actionscript found on the first frame. Do not change any of the instance names of the copied movieclip. And there you go...

Documentation ends prematurely
It seems as thought the documentation is incomplete- it begins a section entitled: "Tutorial for beginners" on page 5 and ends after 2 paragraphs with the line:
"First of all, you should have the Component Inspector (Alt+F7) or the Properties panel opened and the videoPlayer selected in order to set the parameters."
First of all generally denotes more to come. Where can I find the rest of the tutorial?

XML loads, but titles do not display in the playlist
Sorry for the trouble- where can I learn about modifying the playlist? Thanks in advance!

Playlist skinning and documentation
We're sorry for the inconvenience but the component's documentation is the one you got when you bought the player. Unfortunately it is a bit incomplete but we won't be updating it, since we are working on a new and better version of the video player component. The tutorial for beginners simply says that you need to drag and drop the component on the stage, set the properties in the Component Inspector panel and the component will work.
Regarding the skinning: in the file you get from us, you can find the component, the documentation and a few skins. You can either use one of the other skins or you can change the skin to any of them. You simply have to open one of the skin files, copy the content of the Library and paste it in the Library of your project. You will be copying the assets for the playlist and controls. In the playlist folder, in the Library, you have all the assets, the playlist is using. You can directly modify the contents of those clips to suit your needs. It is important not to modify any instance names the assets have, or the component won't function correctly.
Once again we're sorry for the trouble the documentation is causing you and if you have any other questions about the component please feel free to write us at support[at]jumpeyecomponents.com and we'll answer them as soon as possible.
Thank you.

Would like to see this in AS3. Anytime frame for conversion?
I have a number of large Video projects and would love to use your Component. Any insight into the availability of this in AS3 would be helpful.
Thanks

AS3.0 version
We've just started the development of the AS3.0 version but we can't launch it this year. We hope to release it at the beginning of next year, maybe on February...I can't tell you exactly because we're working several high priority projects right now. Thank you for your interest.

I am using this component extensively on a site. The beauty of the graphics and the playlist are the features that caused me to purchase it. It's possible to revise the look of the player while still utllizing all of the code and features.I also got some friendly help from support when I needed it. I would request, in an upgrade, the option of a slider for the volume level.
